With over 400 playing members from 4 years up, South Northumberland Cricket Club is one of the largest and most popular in the area, with 10 junior teams a development team & 4 senior teams, including 2 ladies teams. The majority of our coaches are current or ex Durham players, bringing an incredibly high standard of coaching and developement to our young members.
Newcastle Cricket Centre
Welcome to the Newcastle Cricket Centre. The Newcastle Cricket Centre is the first cricket specific centre in the North East, and ranks as one of the top ten cricket centres in the UK.
The centre is built within the grounds of South Northumberland Cricket Club in Gosforth, Newcastle upon Tyne. With five individual lanes it comes fully equipped with the state-of-the-art video analysis and so provides an excellent environment for coaching and development.

South Northumberland CC Sporting Dinner
On Thursday 21st May South Northumberland Cricket Club will be holding its annual Sporting Dinner.
Over the past fourteen years, this mixed event has become one of the top sporting dinners on the North East circuit and is an ideal way of entertaining customers and friends. The venue is again at South North's magnificent centre in central Gosforth, which offers bars, and seating for over 500 people.
This year we are delighted to announce that our speakers for the event are the outstanding Kevin Jones and Rodney Hogg.
Kevin is a medic from Liverpool who last spoke at the dinner six years ago and his hilarious tales make him one of the very best after-dinner speakers on the circuit. Rodney Hogg was an Australian test cricketer and is a regular speaker on the Aussie dinner circuit and we are delighted that he has agreed to speak whilst he is in the UK for this summers Ashes series.
